Stage 3: Interview Day — in person, 30 minutes, no bench test
Interview Day is one event, not a rotation. RSDM runs a single one-on-one interview of roughly 30 minutes with a faculty member or admissions representative, held in person on the Newark campus. It is an open-file interview: your interviewer has your CAAPID application, your personal statement, your board scores and your letters in front of them, so expect the conversation to start from your own record rather than from a generic script. Candidates describe the tone as conversational and low-pressure — which is exactly why a thin answer stands out, because there is no formal panel for it to hide behind.
There is no bench test on Interview Day. RSDM says so directly, and the program's own description of itself leads with that difference. Stage 4: After the interview — electronic decision and the deposit
